Today I have decided to link up with Mamma Kat and her writing workshop. You choose a prompt, write it out, and let it flow into the universe. This is my first time trying to link up, I hope I got it right... I chose to write a love letter, but this is to someone I consider a friend, who I have loved having in my life.
Dear you with those crazy kids,
I am so glad you asked me to come and babysit for you. I love your kids so much and would do anything for them. You let me into your home one day and I have always wanted to stay. I know we are in different places in our lives, there is a small gap in our ages, but I want to get to know you and become your friend, not just the girl who babysits your kids. I think that you are a crazy cool person, doing your own thing and showing the world your wonderful smile.
I am grateful for you, and that you have opened your home to me. Whenever I feel lonely I want to just stop by to have a good time with you and your kids. I hope that sometime I can become someone maybe you want to hang out with, and someone who you can talk to. My life has become so much better with you as a part of it. I don't think I will ever have the courage to tell you this to your face, that I think of you as a friend.
I love you for all the kindness you have shown to me and hope that I can continue to be part of your family as time goes by.
